Top Dog offers specialty group classes that address specific topics and continued education. Examples include heeling, dog aggression, tricks, or stopping unwanted behaviors. Each class is tailored to touch on a specific topic for 3-8 dogs who share similar temperaments. Our trainers firmly believe in creating controlled environments for group learning and will ensure that every dog in the group has the right temperament to successfully learn and grow within this type of training format. During your group class, the trainer will explain and model the intended behavior the group is trying to work on. Our small group class sizes ensure that you and your dog will also get individualized attention so that your questions and concerns can be addressed.  

We do not offer general obedience or puppy classes. Although all dogs are predator pack animals, we believe every dog is different and unique. Also, owners have different definitions of what a “good” dog looks like. Teaching a shy timid dog confidence is very different from training an exuberant high energy dog impulse control. By placing a wide range of temperaments in one environment to learn foundational training skills, it is not optimal for the dog or the owner to effectively learn the quality content they desire.
