Most often the fastest route to having a well-behaved pet is by doing boarding with training. Your dog will stay at our Gilbert facility anywhere from two weeks to eight weeks to complete one of our comprehensive doggie boot camp programs. The length of stay depends on your household’s goals and what you are trying to achieve. After their stay, all boarding with training packages include 4 to 6 free lessons so that we can transition your dog from our care and leadership to yours. These lessons will equip you with the skills you need to effectively communicate and work with your dog.  

Boarding with training is a good option for anyone facing severe behavioral issues, advanced training goals, or for anyone who simply does not have the time to commit to fully training their own dog. Dogs will be assigned one head trainer to oversee their program and will complete 2 to 4 training sessions per day depending upon their age, energy level, and what skills they are working on. As they progress, other trainers will handle your dog as well to help reinforce the meaning of our communication tools and obedience commands.

Top Dog Gilbert is located on a 1.5 acre property 100% dedicated to dog training services just south of Ray Rd. in between Cooper Rd. and Gilbert Rd. We have two indoor climate controlled training rooms that each average over 1000 sq. feet with training elements like treadmills, specialty training toys, flirt poles, crates, place beds and more.  We also have a large grassy park-like arena that is completely fenced in. This space allows us to train your dog in other contexts outside of the home; preparing your dog for situations that may occur in backyards, parks, or out on walks. Finally we have a 1500 sq ft. boarding facility where your dog will be eating and sleeping between training sessions. Each dog has their own individual run and separate potty break area. All runs are securely double fenced, inlaid with concrete, and shaded throughout the day. There is always someone on site 24/7 and the property is completely gated in; ensuring the safety of your dog and giving you the peace of mind you deserve.
